History and Mission Statement
Floridian Community Bank was founded and opened for business on March 10, 2003. The Founders were determined to persevere and not allow anything to prevent the bank from becoming a reality. They continued with their vision of what a bank that really cares about its customers can truly mean to a community. Some of the most experienced and astute business professionals created a community bank that they can feel proud to own. As fair minded business people, their intent was to create a bank that reflects the unique needs of our business community that they knew so well. By combining the resources, services and technology typically associated with larger banks and with an unqualified commitment to personal service, Floridian Community Bank offers banking solutions designed specifically to help businesses of all sizes, professionals and individuals grow and prosper.
From an original staff of six, we have grown to over 40 very dedicated employees eager to serve your banking needs. Our deposit totals have likewise shown impressive growth from the onset. Floridian Community Bank has consistently produced earnings, increasing the bank's capital base, thus enabling us to handle the banking needs of businesses of all size through participations in the marketplace.
Through the years we expanded our services to correspond with the needs of our customers. We have a concierge courier service and remote deposit-banking from your office that allows us to easily serve the tri-county area and accommodate larger depositors. We will support our community through Advisory Boards consisting of knowledgeable professionals that care about our community and support corporate citizenship and civic involvement. Davie, as the Corporate Headquarters, is the educational hub of the tri-county area, presenting the opportunities for businesses to hire highly-skilled people, and for families to enjoy life-long learning experiences. The town's diversified economic base and recent growth combine to encourage a healthy economy. We will commit to shareholder value through quality asset growth and solid financial returns.
Our corporate offices have expanded to a three story prominent building in the city of Davie that houses our corporate office and holding company. In March 2011, we celebrated our eight year anniversary. We have been successful in opening our second branch in the town of Juno Beach, our third branch in the city of Delray Beach and our fourth branch in Wellington. This allows for fast decisions for our loan customers and enables us to better satisfy the needs of the South Florida community. In addition, Floridian Community Holdings, Inc. has great plans for future subsidiaries that will add value for its shareholders.
Besides having internet banking, remote capture and lock box services, we continue to look for ways to make banking with Floridian Community Bank as convenient for our customers as sitting at their own desk, at home or in the office, through the use of our online banking product. This product allows our customers to gain immediate access to their account information, pay their bills and initiate wire or ACH requests.
